What Fantasy IQ is

Fantasy IQ is a Chrome extension and website that analyzes your own fantasy basketball league and shows recommendations. ESPN is the currently supported platform. This policy covers both, and describes everything we collect and why.

Your platform credentials stay in your browser

To analyze your league, the extension uses your own session credentials for your fantasy platform (for ESPN, the espn_s2 and SWID cookies). These are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. When you run an analysis, they are sent over HTTPS to our API, used for that single request to read your league data from your platform, and discarded. We never store platform credentials on our servers, and our staff cannot see them.

What we do store

• Account data — your email address, sign-in sessions, and subscription tier, stored in our database so your account works across devices.
• Usage counts — how many analyses you run per day, used to enforce plan limits. Not the content of the analyses.
• Billing records — if you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store only your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.

League data fetched from your fantasy platform (rosters, schedules, scores) is processed to produce your analysis and returned to you. It is not sold, shared, or used to build profiles.

What we don't do

• No selling or renting of your data — to anyone, ever.
• No advertising, ad tracking, or third-party analytics.
• No collection of browsing history, keystrokes, or activity outside your fantasy platform’s pages.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers, each receiving only what their role requires: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in emails), Cloudflare (authentication service), and Hetzner (application hosting). Your fantasy platform (currently ESPN) is your own account — we access it with your credentials, on your behalf.

Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies for sign-in sessions. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. Email [email protected] to request a copy of your data or permanent deletion; uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored credentials immediately.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be called out on the site.
